what is a working ferret to most people what dont know :)

A working ferret

A working ferret is one that is used for flushing wild rabbits out of their burrows, which is a humane and environmentally acceptable means of pest control.

A working ferret enter a rabbit warren or a set or a berry (as different people have different names for them up and down the country) but for me I call them (warrens and sets)

A person who goes rabbiting or ferreting they are the name but same definition but as I said different people call it different to another person does but they are all the same name but I liked to be called
a ferreter,

But back to what is a working ferret ?

a black eyed white working hob
a sliver jill
A working ferret is when a ferreter/rabbiter goes to a land owner or a farmer either one of there land is being disrupted and damaged by wild rabbits a ferreter or a rabbiter goes there to sort the problem out with a few working ferrets/polecat ferret what the ferreter or the rabbit does is gets a locater or nocker box same definition but different people say different but they always make sure they have that and also a collar the collar is for the ferret they put it around there neck of the ferret is does not hurt the ferret in any way it a devise for the ferret and the ferreter and rabbit so they do not loose the ferret under ground in the rabbit world but they make sure that is on secure on the ferret neck with the battery's working frist and then checks it if its working fine you can get up to a 8ft & 15ft mk1 and mk2 and there's also a new mk3 and a mk3m ferret finder but back to the working ferret they make sure they have a devise on them so say there was a block end under ground and the ferret was stuck or maybe killed in "killed in as I mean its killed the rabbit below ground" so the ferreter or rabbiter can dig his ferret out with the help of the ferret finder as what they are called and the ferret finder can finder your ferret and locate it by 1ft to 8ft and on other models are different ranges from 15ft but the ferret can flush wild rabbits out from below and flush them means (PUSH THEM OUT OF THERE HOMES UNDER GROUND) and into a purse net witch goes over a rabbit hole so the rabbit does not escape and then the ferreter or a rabbiter can humanly dispatch the wild rabbit quick and less painful for the wild rabbit so by the end of the day you should have a good catch or bag of bunnies for the pot or for the ferrets depends on how many you've got and get the ferret back to its cage on a  nice cold afternoon with some warm milk as the ferret has done a good days work and ready for another days work.

hope that enuff information and hope vive covered it if not please let me no and ill add some more information thanks Kenny
